Dr. Unnati Soni is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Work, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree (2010), a Master of Social Work (MSW) (2012), and an M.Phil (2013) from Sardar Patel University. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Social Work by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, with her doctoral research focusing on "Sustainable Development through Micro Enterprises among Women Involved with SelfHelp Groups." Her areas of specialization include women empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, microenterprise development, selfhelp group (SHG) dynamics, entrepreneurship development, and communitybased interventions. Dr. Soni has published over 20 research articles in reputed national and international journals. She has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops, and has presented several research papers in these academic forums. She is committed to advancing knowledge in the field of social work through research, teaching, and community engagement, with a strong focus on empowering marginalized populations, especially women, through sustainable and participatory development approaches.
