Democratic systems depend on policymaking processes that reflect citizen participation, fairness, and informed deliberation. Crafting effective policy requires balancing competing interests and upholding democratic principles. Democratic Policymaking explores the institutional frameworks and political dynamics shaping policy development in democratic societies. The book discusses agendasetting, interest group influence, and policy evaluation. It also examines challenges such as populism, partisanship, and public trust. Through case studies and analytical models, it provides readers with a deep understanding of how democratic values are operationalized in policymaking processes.
