Hamed Barjesteh is an associate professor of Education, Professor of applied linguistics, and a faculty member of Islamic Azad University, Ayatollah Amoli branch, Amol, Iran. A teacher educator for 20 years, Hamed Barjesteh has published several books and articles on teaching English to young and adult language learners and presented at conferences at various national and international levels. He has trained teachers and supervised many MA theses and Ph.D. dissertations. He serves as the head of English Language department, an editor and a reviewer for various journals and conferences. His research interests lie in the field of critical language pedagogy, thinking skills in language learning, Critical Language testing, dynamic assessment, and corrective feedback.

Lida Forouzandehfar is a Ph.D. candidate in Teaching English as a foreign language. She is a part time teacher in IAU University. She works as teacher-training consultant at different English language institutes. She also works as an interpreter. Her areas of interest are translation, teacher education, critical thinking, language assessment, and critical pedagogy.
